卒業式

We held the graduation ceremony for the 13th and the 14th enrolled students(entered in April, 2017 and in October, 2017) on March 14, 2019.
Female students attended in kimono.
At the beginning of the ceremony, President Yokota delivered a celebrational speech.

We decorated Hina-dolls at the entrance of Yamate Japanese Language School on March 1, 2019.
Female students took photos with them.

スピーチ大会

The 8th Speech Contest was held at Yamate Japanese Language School on February 22, 2019.
20 representatives from each class had practiced a lot and made great speeches.
Nepali student made a speech about pros and cons of cellphone.

Nepali student who made a speech ‘ The Importance of Being Cheerful’ won the 1st prize.

We are looking forward to listening to the speeches junior students make next year.

We had Setsubun event, throwing the beans and warding off bad luck.
This is the first experience for the new commers, so they’re into making masks.

2018年クリスマス会

We had Christmas party at Westa Kawagoe as last year on December 21. Students from each country showed their local songs and dances. We could experience other cultures and had a great time.

School excursion to Saiko Iyashi no sato NEMBA and Fujisan World Heritage Center

We went to Yamanashi prefecture on a school excursion.
All of us enjoyed the virgin landscape of Japan at Saiko Iyashi no sato NEMBA.

At Fujisan World Heritage Center, we saw how Mt. Fuji had changed (We rarely had a chance to see), and broaden our horizons.

On that day, it was fine and we enjoyed viewing changing colored leaves and Mt. Fuji.
We learned the old villages and the history of Mt. Fuji. It was a meaningful day.

2015 Spring new students training camp.

May 9 and 10, all of the new students conducted a two-day training camp in Shiga Highlands. Upon arrival we immediately launched a speaking engagements, almost all the students were trying to do the unscripted speech.

And, the dinner was Sukiyaki, the reward of our speech.

After the dinner, we got a lot of talks about Learning and Life from school president and Koiwa school headmaster, so everone got a beneficial night.

It was already May, but in Shiga Highlands was still piled up snow. For the students who has never seen snow, it really was an overjoyed thing, so everyone enjoyed the snow play.

Just like school director said, everyone should to insist on two hours learning everyday, and try for get over than 90 score in every exam. And since now all of we try to be the person that [Making efforts], [Keep promises] and [Well‐mannered].

April 2015, the ninth YAMATE school entrance ceremony was held in 203 classroom.

The words he sent to new students was: “Everyday insist on more than two hours learning, and improve your Japanese level as faster as you can.”

What new students understood from his words was:”At the beginning, you will be very hard for understanding Japanese, but listening is really very important in Japanese learning, so please try your best to listen more and more Japanese.”

Since now, let us start insisting on more than two hours learning everyday for preparation and review, and try our best to listen more and more Japanese.

2015 Extracurricular activity- Tokyo Disney

March 13, all students and staffs of YAMATE went to Tokyo Disney Sea and played the whole day.

March 2015 graduation ceremony

March 12, fine. This day we held the 2015 graduation ceremony. At first dirctor gave a speech. then School headmaster sent the congratulations to every graduate.
